FG and Edo State Government Support Benin Airport Revival Plan

The Federal Government and Edo State government have agreed to revive Benin Airport by mid-year and establish an indigenous airline. Governor Okpebholo led a delegation to the Ministry of Aviation in Abuja, where Festus Keyamo emphasized the importance of aviation in economic revival.

The plan includes exploring partnerships with South African investors to provide aircraft for immediate operations. A technical committee will drive coordination between the federal and state governments to ensure regulatory compliance.
