FG, EGO Foundation, Access Corp Train 120 Artisans in Nigeria

The Federal Ministry of Education, in collaboration with EGO Foundation and Access Corporation, conducted a training program for 120 artisans in Nigeria, focusing on various high-demand vocational skills. The initiative aims to provide participants with essential work tools and starter kits to support their business growth and self-employment.

Toluwa Olaniyan, the Executive Director of EGO Foundation, stated that the training sought to improve participants' employability and equip them with practical knowledge and technical expertise necessary for establishing and sustaining livelihoods. The program included intensive hands-on training in areas such as garment making, fashion design, beauty, cosmetology, solar installation, maintenance, hospital management, and catering.

Beneficiaries received entrepreneurial business management support to strengthen existing enterprises and launch new ventures. The initiative underscores the importance of public-private partnerships in addressing unemployment and poverty through skill acquisition and entrepreneurship development in Nigeria.
