Nigeria, EU, and France Collaborate to Boost Pharmaceutical Manufacturing in $10.2M Project

The Nigerian government, EU, and France have entered a partnership to boost Nigeria's pharmaceutical sector through the Qualiti Uplift Advanc Local Industri Medicin Standard Qualim Nigeria project. With a total investment of $10.2 million, the initiative aims to enhance local medicine quality, ensure access to essential health technologies, and foster research-based innovation.

The project will run from 2025 to 2028, focusing on collaboration with the Nigerian Ministry of Health, NIPRD, and local partners. The signing ceremony took place at the Nigeria-EU Health Investment Forum in Abuja, emphasizing the importance of international collaboration in strengthening healthcare systems.
