France Strengthens Partnership with Nigeria in Technology and Innovation

France's Minister of European and Foreign Affairs, Mr. Jean Noël Barrot, announced a deepening partnership with Nigeria in technology and innovation during the second edition of the Forum for the Creation of Africa in Lagos.

The collaboration aims to promote sustainable development and cultural exchange across Africa, showcasing talent from 42 African countries. The partnership includes efforts to develop regulatory frameworks to encourage innovation and prevent misuse of technology.

Initiatives like the Omi Eko project, supported by the European Union, will introduce electric boats and new waterways in Lagos to reduce carbon emissions and adapt to rising sea levels.
