FG Brokers Peace Between Dangote Refinery and PENGASSAN

The Federal Government has successfully mediated peace between Dangote Refinery and PENGASSAN, resolving a labor dispute that threatened fuel supply stability. Following two days of talks, an agreement was reached to reabsorb disengaged workers into the Dangote Group with no loss of pay.

The conciliation meeting, convened by Minister of Labour and Employment, Mohammed Maigari Dingyadi, was attended by key officials including the National Security Adviser, NSA Nuhu Ribadu. The agreement emphasized the rights of workers to unionize in accordance with Nigerian law, with strict adherence expected to the resolutions reached during the discussions.
