Nigerian Government Goes Fully Digital, Abandons Paper Correspondence

The Nigerian Federal Government has embraced full digitalization, abandoning paper correspondence in all federal ministries. The Head of Civil Service of the Federation announced the shift, highlighting the creation of 100,000 email accounts on the GovMail platform for civil servants.

This move aims to streamline government operations, ensure official email security, and enhance professionalism. All federal ministries, including 38 ministries and extra ministerial departments, are now part of this digital transformation effort.

Walson Jack, the Accountant General of the Federation, was mentioned in the announcement.
