FG and Gombe State Sign MoU for General Hospital Takeover in Kumo

The Federal Government and Gombe State signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the takeover of the newly constructed General Hospital in Kumo. The agreement aims to convert the hospital into a Federal Medical Centre to enhance healthcare services in the region.

The signing ceremony, held at the Federal Ministry of Health headquarters in Abuja, involved Governor Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya representing Gombe State and Minister of State for Health, Iziaq Salako, representing the Federal Government. The collaboration signifies a significant milestone for Gombe State in improving healthcare access and services.

The fully equipped medical facility is expected to bridge the healthcare gap and benefit the residents of the state.
