Nigeria Issues Travel Advisory for Iran and Gulf Countries

The Federal Government of Nigeria has issued an advisory for its citizens living in or visiting Iran and Gulf countries, following ongoing conflicts involving the United States, Israel, and the Iranian regime. The advisory was disclosed by Kimiebi Imomotimi Ebienfa, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement released in Abuja on Saturday.

The ministry emphasized that the government is closely monitoring the evolving and volatile situation in the Middle East, particularly concerning military actions and retaliatory measures involving Israel, the U.S., and Iran. The advisory urges Nigerian citizens to exercise caution due to heightened tensions that could lead to further escalation.

The government is committed to assessing the situation and providing updates as necessary. This advisory comes in the wake of Israeli attacks targeting Iranian sites, which have raised concerns about military actions that could disrupt regional stability and global peace.
