Nigerian Govt Launches 10,000 Women in Mobility Scheme to Boost Economic Inclusion

The Nigerian government, through the Nigerian Consumers Credit Corporation (Credicorp), has initiated the 10,000 Women in Mobility Scheme to economically empower women nationwide. The program aims to grant 10,000 women access to vehicles like tricycles and motorcycles to enhance their economic inclusion.

The Minister of Women Affairs, Imaan Sulaiman Ibrahim, emphasized the importance of women's participation in the economy. Uzoma Nwagba of Credicorp described the scheme as a practical step towards expanding financial inclusion and deepening Nigeria's consumer credit ecosystem.
