Ogun State Empowers 105,000 Women in Women Empowerment Initiative

Ogun State government has initiated a women empowerment project to uplift 105,000 women in Ifo, Ijebu Ode, Sagamu, and Ado Odo/Ota local government areas. Led by Adijat Adeley, the project aims to enhance women's access to finance, skills, and social capital through the establishment of 4,200 Women Affinity Groups (WAGs).

The project, supported by Governor Dapo Abiodun and other officials, focuses on financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and inclusion of unbanked women in the formal economy. The success of the project's first phase has garnered national recognition and commendation.
