FG Unveils NCGC Initiative to Boost MSME Financing in Nigeria

The Federal Government launched the NCGC initiative to enhance MSME financing, aiming to boost economic resilience and industrial growth. Minister Doris, of the Ministry of Finance, assured support for the initiative, emphasizing its role in expanding access to finance for SMEs.

The NCGC, under the leadership of Bonaventure Okhaimo, was commended for its rapid establishment and professional rollout. The initiative is expected to reduce credit risks for financial institutions, unlocking funding for MSMEs and strengthening the manufacturing sector.

The government reiterated its commitment to providing institutional support to ensure the NCGC fulfills its mandate effectively.
