FG Launches N5m Grant for Young Nigerian Entrepreneurs

The Federal Ministry of Youth Development has initiated the NiYA × Cascador Founders Programme, aimed at supporting young Nigerian entrepreneurs in enhancing their businesses and achieving investment readiness. This four-week program, in collaboration with Cascador and Sapphital, will select 20 young founders for intensive training focused on business development, investment readiness, pitch preparation, and mentorship.

Eight of the top-performing participants will be eligible to receive up to N5 million each in non-dilutive funding from Cascador, along with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution to aid in business management and growth. Applicants must meet specific eligibility requirements and submit five necessary documents before the application deadline of August 26, 2026.

Participation in the program does not guarantee funding, as only the eight best-performing founders will qualify for the financial support. Participants are expected to engage actively in all program activities, including training and a final Pitch Day.
