FG and Stratcomm Partner to Empower Nigerian Youth

On Thursday, the Federal Government of Nigeria, represented by the Federal Ministry of Youth Development, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Stratcomm Consult in Abuja. This partnership aims to strengthen youth empowerment initiatives in Nigeria, extending beyond climate-related interventions to encompass broader developmental priorities.

Comrade Ayodele Olawande, the Minister of Youth Development, emphasized the importance of data-driven decision-making in shaping responses to youth migration and developing strategies. The MoU signifies a forward-looking collaboration designed to enhance institutional capacity and deliver measurable outcomes for young Nigerians.

The partnership aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the presidency, promoting public-private partnerships and inter-ministerial collaboration as essential drivers of national development. Dr.

Maryam Keshinro, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, reaffirmed the government's commitment to promoting youth-led initiatives. Oyekan Adeoloyin from the Ministry highlighted the need for coordinated action across sectors to effectively address the challenges posed by youth migration and climate change.
