FG, States, LGs Share N2.001trn July 2025 Revenue

In July 2025, the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) distributed a total of N2.001 trillion among the federal, state, and local governments in Nigeria. The allocation, made during the FAAC meeting held in Abuja in August 2025, consisted of Statutory revenue amounting to N1.8 trillion, Value Added Tax (VAT) at N172 billion, Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL) at N8 billion, and Exchange Difference at N1 billion.

The Gross statutory revenue received in July was N1.9 trillion, slightly lower than the previous month. The Federal Government received N276 billion, State Governments got N140 billion, and Local Government Councils were allocated N108 billion.

The revenue sources included Petroleum Profit Tax, Oil and Gas Royalty, EMTL, and Excise Duty, with significant increases in VAT and Import Duty.
