FG, states, LGs share N2.001 trillion July 2025 revenue

The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) distributed a total of N2.001 trillion in July 2025 revenue to the Federal Government, State Governments, and Local Government Councils. This allocation was confirmed at the FAAC meeting held in Abuja in August 2025.

The distributable revenue included N1.7 trillion in statutory revenue, N289 billion in Value Added Tax (VAT), N10 billion in Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL), and N4 billion in Exchange Difference. The total gross revenue available for July 2025 was N2.1 trillion, with deductions and costs amounting to N99 billion.

The Federal Government received N320 billion, State Governments received N161 billion, and Local Government Councils received N124 billion. Additionally, N13 billion in mineral revenue was shared as derivation revenue, with the Federal Government, State Governments, and Local Government Councils receiving their respective allocations.
