FG Launches Nigeria Health Sector Fellowship Program for Youth Empowerment

The Federal Government of Nigeria has revealed plans to kick off the Nigeria Health Sector Fellowship Program on November 1, 2025. This initiative aims to empower young professionals across all local government areas in Nigeria, offering them the opportunity to contribute significantly to the nation's health sector.

The program, part of the Nigeria Health Sector Renewal Investment Initiative, will provide selected fellows with intensive training, mentorship, and exposure to best practices within the health space over a 12-month period. Participants will receive stipends to support their living expenses throughout the program, with a focus on building leadership capacity and driving innovation in local government health systems.
