Nigeria Unveils New Revenue Service Logo, Retires FIRS for Efficiency

The Nigerian government has introduced the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) to replace the defunct Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS). The move, in accordance with the Nigeria Revenue Service Establishment Act 2025, signifies a significant milestone in transforming the country's revenue administration framework.

The new brand reflects a commitment to building a unified and efficient service-driven revenue system, aligning with global best practices and Nigeria's economic reform agenda. Zacch Adedeji, the executive chairman of NRS, unveiled the logo and brand elements to support taxpayer development and institutional capacity.
