FG Steps in as PENGASSAN Begins Strike at Dangote Refinery

The Federal Government intervened in the dispute between Dangote Refinery and PENGASSAN as the union began strike action. The government assured the public of no disruption in the supply of refined petroleum products across the country.

The Steering Committee on Domestic Crude Oil Refined Products Sales met to review the situation following PENGASSAN's directive to cut crude oil and gas supplies to Dangote Refinery. The government addressed concerns raised by PENGASSAN regarding the refinery's operations and recent developments.

The Ministry of Finance, led by Wale Edun, coordinated the discussions with key stakeholders to resolve the issues and ensure continued petroleum product supply.
