PENGASSAN Halts Nationwide Strike After Crucial Negotiations

PENGASSAN, the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria, has suspended its nationwide strike following negotiations with government officials and industry stakeholders. The decision was announced by PENGASSAN President Festus Osifo after a crucial meeting involving the National Security Adviser and Dangote Refinery management.

Despite some unresolved issues, the union chose to halt the strike in good faith to allow for the implementation of agreed terms. Osifo acknowledged the importance of respecting the rule of engagement and working within the confines of the refinery.
