Morohunke Bammeke Exits Fidelity Bank Board Effective 2026

Fidelity Bank has announced the exit of Morohunke Bammeke from its Board as an independent non-executive director, effective April 30, 2026. The announcement was made in a statement signed by the company secretary, Ezinwa Unuigbo.

During his tenure, which began on November 18, 2021, Mr. Bammeke made significant contributions, serving on various board committees, including the Board Audit Committee and the Board Information Technology Committee, the latter of which he chaired.

His educational background includes a first-class Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University, and he is a recipient of the British FCO Chevening Scholarship, holding a Master of Science degree in Management from London Business School. The announcement follows Fidelity Bank's recent disclosure regarding its successful private placement of 14.8 billion ordinary shares at N17.50 per share as of December 31, 2025.
