FIFA and CAF Set Dates for 2027 AFCON in East Africa

FIFA and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) have officially announced that the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) will be held from June 19 to July 17, 2027. This edition of the tournament will be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, marking a historic return of the tournament to East Africa.

It will be the first instance where three countries jointly host the AFCON, reflecting the growing cooperation in football and the development of infrastructure across the region.
