Finally, Naira Marley Breaks Silence Over Mohbad’s Death

Naira Marley has broken his silence on the tragic death of his former signee, Mohbad, in a YouTube video titled "Side Story." The CEO of Marlian Records, Azeez Fashola, revealed that Mohbad passed away two years ago at the age of 27. Naira Marley addressed the intense public scrutiny and allegations surrounding Mohbad's death, recounting incidents leading up to the singer's demise.

He emphasized transparency in his business dealings and denied accusations of cheating artists. Naira Marley also shared details of a raid on Marlian House by NDLEA operatives, which led to the arrest of Zinoleesky and Mohbad.

The rapper claimed that Mohbad attempted suicide multiple times due to substance abuse and alleged that the late singer staged a fight with his manager in an attempt to leave the record label. Naira Marley expressed frustration over false narratives and accusations following Mohbad's death, highlighting the strained relationship between them since October 2022.
