Despite the loss, which saw Rivers United's momentum slow, Georg maintained a calm demeanor, emphasizing the need for the team to regroup and focus on correcting mistakes ahead of their next fixture.

He noted that the defeat does not significantly damage their title push, as Rivers United still leads the NPFL table with 52 points from 28 matches, holding a narrow advantage over second-placed Rangers International, who have 50 points from 29 games. The upcoming fixtures promise to tighten the battle for the top positions, with Rivers United facing a challenging away trip to Ikorodu City on Monday.
