Fintiri's Infrastructure Investments to Transform Adamawa

Suleiman Mohammed, the Adamawa State Commissioner for Works and Energy Development, asserted that Governor Ahmadu Fintiri will leave an enduring legacy through substantial investments in infrastructure throughout the state. In an exclusive interview in Yola, he emphasized that these infrastructure projects symbolize the identity and aspirations of the people of Adamawa State.

The Fintiri administration has completed and rehabilitated over 100 infrastructure and road projects across all 21 local government areas, including more than 347 kilometres of rural roads. Key projects include the 17-kilometre Shelleng–Bakta Road, the 40-kilometre Maiha Fulbere–Zhedinyi–Pella Road, and the 24.1-kilometre Mubi–Maiha Road.

Major urban road interventions have also been undertaken in Yola and Jimeta, such as the Yola Unity Flyover and Mubi Roundabout Flyover. Mohammed revealed that the contract for the Jimeta Bypass, a federal road, will be awarded before the end of next month, aimed at reducing traffic congestion and accidents.
