Fire Destroys Property of Former Zamfara Governor in Asokoro, Abuja

A fire outbreak occurred at a property linked to Alhaji Sani Yerima, the former governor of Zamfara state, in Asokoro, Abuja. The incident, which destroyed several blocks of three-bedroom flats, started from a solar panel installation on the roof.

Fortunately, no lives were lost, but four flats were completely burnt, resulting in the destruction of household items. Responding agencies like the Federal Emergency Management Department (FEMD), Federal Fire Service, FCT Fire Service, NEMA, and FCT Police Command were on the scene to contain the fire and prevent further spread.
