Fire Destroys Kogi LG Chairman's House, Family Safe

On Wednesday, a fire broke out at the residence of Idris Moham Omal, the chairman of a Local Government in Kogi, causing extensive damage. The fire started suddenly around 11 AM while the chairman's family was inside the building.

Fortunately, they managed to evacuate safely without any casualties or injuries. Omal confirmed the incident and expressed immense gratitude to God for the survival of his family despite the devastating loss of valuable property.

He acknowledged the quick intervention of neighbors and the local community, who helped prevent the fire from escalating to nearby houses. The chairman described the incident as utterly devastating, noting that while property was destroyed, the loss could have been much worse.
