Firefighter Injured in Ikeja Computer Village Blaze

A fire outbreak at Ikeja Computer Village in Lagos resulted in a firefighter sustaining injuries and properties worth millions being destroyed. The inferno started in a commercial building housing dealers of computer accessories.

Prompt response from Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Lagos State Fire Service, and the police helped combat the fire. While no fatalities were reported, the firefighter injured was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The incident led to the complete destruction of the top floor of the commercial building. Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.
