Woobi Donates Smart Boards to Enhance Digital Learning

Woobi, represented by its founder and CEO Gbolahan Olayomi, has made a significant contribution to Nigeria's education sector by donating 20 interactive smart board units to schools nationwide. This initiative aligns with the federal government's drive to accelerate digital learning across the country.

The donation aims to address the digital infrastructure deficit highlighted by UNICEF, which reported that less than half of teachers possess basic ICT skills, leaving millions of Nigerian children without access to quality education and essential digital skills for the future. Olayomi emphasized the importance of this gesture in giving back to the community and acknowledged the federal government's long-standing investment in schools.

Michael Magaji, president of the Old Students Association (USOSA), noted that this intervention comes at a crucial time to transform the learning experience in public schools. Woobi's board chairman, Toyin Awoseyi, stated that the donation aligns with the company's vision to fulfill every child's learning potential through technology.
