Bitget Wallet Integrates Reality for US Stock Trading

Bitget Wallet has announced the integration of Reality, a regulated tokenised asset issuance protocol, enabling Nigerian users to trade more than 1,700 tokenised US stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) directly from the wallet. This integration allows users to trade shares of companies like Nvidia, Tesla, Apple, and Amazon without the need for a foreign brokerage account or converting funds off an exchange.
The tokenised assets, referred to as rTokens, are backed one-to-one by the underlying US shares held at Alpaca Securities, a FINRA-registered, SIPC-member broker-dealer, with reserves independently attested daily by a third-party CPA firm. Orders are routed to Nasdaq and NYSE during US market hours, ensuring that prices reflect the underlying market.
Additionally, dividends on eligible rTokens are paid in stablecoins directly into users' wallets. The integration is currently operational on the Arbitrum and Morph networks, allowing users to manage US shares alongside their crypto holdings without needing a separate brokerage platform.
