FIRS Collaborates with Security Agencies to Tackle Tax Evasion in Lagos

The FIRS engaged key law enforcement agencies in Lagos to strengthen collaboration in revenue protection and tax enforcement. The session, organized by FIRS' Special Enforcement Division, aimed to deepen operational synergy among agencies ahead of implementing the National Revenue Service Act in January 2026.

CSP Bakfur Kye emphasized the importance of a unified approach to revenue collection and highlighted the role of media in promoting compliance. Oladipo Oluyemi and Falowo Austin reiterated the need for effective enforcement to secure revenue generation and maintain law and order.
