First Bank and Visa Launch Multi-Currency Premium Cards

First Bank Nigeria, in partnership with Visa, has launched two new multi-currency premium cards: the Visa Signature Card and the Naira Visa Debit Card. The rollout aims to transform the digital payment landscape across various customer segments.

The Visa Signature Card is designed for affluent customers, while the Naira Visa Debit Card caters to everyday users, providing convenient access to global payment systems. During the unveiling ceremony in Lagos, Obianuju Ondo Okerek emphasized the bank's commitment to a customer-centric approach.

The Visa Signature Card allows users to seamlessly switch between currencies, including Naira, US Dollar, British Pound, and Euro, and offers premium lifestyle privileges such as 24/7 concierge services and airport lounge access. Andrew Uaboi, Vice President and Cluster Head at Visa West Africa, highlighted the collaboration's focus on supporting the unique lifecycle of modern consumers.

The Naira Visa Debit Card is available instantly across nationwide branches, with a transaction limit of N3 million for the premium card, which will be delivered within 24 to 48 hours based on the customer's location.
