Olojo Festival 5km Road Race: Empowering Youth and Celebrating Yoruba Culture

The inaugural Olojo Festival 5km Road Race in Osun State promises a world-class experience, coinciding with the iconic Olojo Festival celebrating Yoruba culture. Organized by Sooko Adeleke Odewade in collaboration with Alade fa Athletic Family Initiative and endorsed by Ooni of Ife, the race aims to empower youth, promote healthy living, and diversify festival offerings.

Director Tony Osheku highlighted the inclusivity of the race, open to both elite and amateur runners, with the potential to boost local businesses and tourism. The event seeks to identify and support raw athletic talent through coaching and mentorship.
