Hansi Flick Signs Two-Year Contract Extension with Barcelona

Hansi Flick, the current coach of FC Barcelona, confirmed on Tuesday that he has signed a new two-year contract with the club, which includes an option for a third season. This announcement follows Barcelona's achievement of securing their second consecutive La Liga title after a 2-0 victory against arch-rivals Real Madrid at Camp Nou.

The 61-year-old German expressed confidence in continuing with Barcelona, stating that he believes the club is in a good position and that he is happy to extend his contract until 2028. Under Flick's leadership, Barcelona has won two La Liga titles, the Copa del Rey, and two Spanish Super Cups.

Flick joined Barcelona in the summer of 2024, replacing Xavi, and has previously enjoyed success with Bayern Munich, where he won multiple titles. His commitment to achieving the highest level and winning new titles, including the UEFA Champions League, remains a priority.
