Folagade Banks Launches Trailer for 'A Mama Deola Wedding Story'

Folagade Banks, a popular Nigerian content creator and actor, unveiled the official trailer for his debut feature film, ‘A Mama Deola Wedding Story’, on Friday, August 28. The film is set to stream exclusively on Kava, a digital streaming platform, starting September 3, 2026.

This comedy-drama is based on Banks' well-known Mama Deola character from his viral comedy skits and explores the humorous and dramatic events surrounding a wedding. The trailer showcases wedding preparations, family interactions, and comedic exchanges among characters.

Folagade Banks, whose real name is Abiri Tobi Folagade, serves as both the producer and lead actor of the film. The movie is directed by Femi Adebayo and features a cast of established Nollywood actors, including Shaffy Bello, Omowunmi Dada, Rotimi Salami, Toyin Abraham, Bukky Wright, Erica Nlewedim, Akin Lewis, Toyin Adegbola, and veteran actress Iya Rainbow.
