Nollywood actor and skitmaker Folagade Banks, known for his character Mama Deola, visited Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on September 4, 2026, following the premiere of his new film in Lagos. Banks shared a video of their meeting on X, where he informed the governor about the movie, eliciting an amusing response that generated significant social media engagement.

The film, which debuted on the streaming platform Kava on September 3, 2026, is the platform's first original production and expands on Banks' popular character from comedy skits into a full-length cinematic narrative. Directed by a veteran actor and filmmaker, Banks served as both producer and executive producer.
