Former APC Aspirant Quits Party Over Tinubu's 2027 Bid

Former APC presidential aspirant Dr. SKC Ogbonnia from Enugu State has officially resigned from the APC, criticizing Bola Tinubu's leadership and the party's governance.

Ogbonnia accused Tinubu of failing to address critical issues like insecurity, poverty, and unemployment. He also highlighted the lack of internal party democracy and alleged unfair tactics to suppress opposition.

Ogbonnia expressed concerns about national security and foreign relations under Tinubu's leadership, calling his rumored 2027 second-term bid a gross insult to the country. The resignation letter was submitted to the party leadership, including the national chairman and secretary.
