Former England Youth Player Switches Allegiance to Nigeria

Head coach Eric Chelle has successfully convinced a former England youth international left-back to switch his international allegiance to Nigeria. The player, born in England, had discussions with Chelle and his representatives since last season.

Although he initially requested more time to confirm his switch, he was expected to begin the process in the summer. After sorting out his club future, he recently moved to a different top-flight team.
