Mani Secures PDP Guber Ticket in Niger State
Alhaji Mohammed Mani has been endorsed as the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Niger State. This endorsement occurred at the state party secretariat in Minna, where PDP stakeholders gathered.
Mani replaces Abubakar Sulaiman, who voluntarily withdrew from the position to promote peace, unity, and progress within the party. Mani expressed his commitment to delivering the state to the PDP in the upcoming election and sought the support of party members.
Prior to this, he contested for the governorship ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC), which was awarded to Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago by consensus. Mani was among the aspirants who lost in the APC primary election and has since defected to the PDP.
