Yakasai Defects from APC to ADC, Starts New Political Journey

Salihu Tanko Yakasai, who previously served as a special adviser to former Kano State Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has officially announced his defection from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the African Democratic Congress (ADC). Yakasai made this announcement via his social media handle on Monday, describing the move as a new journey in his political career.

He indicated that his decision followed extensive consultations with family members, friends, and fellow political associates. Yakasai confirmed that he has submitted his resignation letter to the APC and has completed his registration with the ADC.

He expressed optimism about the prospects of the ADC, encouraging support for the party and noting that membership cards can be obtained quickly online. Yakasai also prayed for divine guidance and success, expressing hope that the ADC would rise to form a government across Nigeria and bring progress to the nation.
