Tonye Cole Mentions APC Leader in Rivers Post Amaechi's Exit

Tonye Patrick Cole, a former gubernatorial candidate of the APC in Rivers state, mentioned the party's leader in the state following the exit of Rotimi Amaechi. Cole referred to himself as the technical leader of the APC in Rivers state in the absence of Amaechi, who has joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Cole criticized the APC leadership, particularly challenging the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He highlighted the need for the ruling party to address internal issues and stop excluding members from meetings.

The APC in Rivers state has seen recent victories and aims to recruit new members, including key political figures like Minister FCT Nyesom Wike.
