Former PDP chair Audu Ogbeh passes away

Former national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and ex-minister of agriculture, Chief Audu Ogbeh, has passed away at the age of 78. His family confirmed his peaceful departure on Saturday, August 9, stating that he left behind a legacy of integrity, service, and dedication to the nation, community, and family.

The family expressed gratitude for the prayers and support received during this difficult time and requested privacy to mourn the loss of the patriarch. Chief Ogbeh, a seasoned politician, writer, and farmer, chaired the PDP from 2001 to 2005 and served as a minister in President Muhammadu Buhari's administration.

His contributions to the political landscape and commitment to public service have left a lasting impact. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
