Idagbo Praises Wike, Predicts Tinubu's 2027 Victory

Legor Idagbo, a former member of the House of Representatives representing Bekwarra, Obanliku, and Obudu Federal Constituency in Cross River State, commended Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, for his strategic role in the success of the APC during the recent area council elections in the FCT. In an interview in Abuja, Idagbo noted that Wike's leadership and administrative style significantly contributed to the growth and acceptance of the APC in the Federal Capital Territory.

He stated that the outcome of the area council elections reflects the confidence residents have in the current leadership and the policies being implemented. Idagbo expressed strong belief that Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President of Nigeria, will secure a second term in office in the 2027 presidential election, emphasizing ongoing reforms and development initiatives that will strengthen public support for the administration.

He dismissed concerns about Nigeria drifting towards a one-party state, arguing that democracy allows citizens to freely associate with political parties that meet their aspirations.
