Tinubu Commends Wike for APC's FCT Election Victory

Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President of Nigeria, commended Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, for the All Progressives Congress (APC) victory in the recent elections held in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). This acknowledgment followed the elections conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) across six area councils in the FCT.

Tinubu's remarks were conveyed in a statement issued by his special adviser, Bayo Onanuga, on Sunday. He praised the electoral process and the involvement of various stakeholders, including INEC and security agencies, for ensuring a peaceful and credible exercise.

Tinubu emphasized the importance of the elections in strengthening democratic institutions and urged the electoral body to continue improving its processes to deliver exemplary electoral outcomes. He also called on the elected officials to approach their mandates with a sense of duty and responsibility.
