Niger State Judiciary Officers Dismissed Over Exam Failures

Four judiciary officers in Niger State have been dismissed by the Niger State Judicial Service Commission for repeatedly failing mandatory promotion exams. The affected officers, including three from the High Court and one from the Sharia Court of Appeal, failed the promotion exams three times in a row.

The commission cited regulations and advised them to leave the service. Additionally, an investigation committee has been set up to look into allegations of serious misconduct against one officer accused of circulating a disparaging video targeting the Chief Judge of Niger State judiciary.
