Tragic Mining Accident: Four Miners Killed in Plateau State Collapse

Four miners tragically died in Plateau State after a sandpit collapsed on them. The incident occurred in Dura community, with eyewitnesses stating that the ground caved in while the miners were working.

Three of the miners died instantly, while one was rushed to the hospital but later succumbed to injuries. The community is in mourning over the loss of lives in the mining accident.

Solomon Dung, an aide to the governor, and Caleb Mutfwang from Artisanal Mining confirmed the incident. The exact cause of the collapse is yet to be determined, and investigations are ongoing to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
