FRC and Integrity Organisation Launch Business Certification for SMEs in Nigeria

The Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRC) and Integrity Organisation have introduced the Business Integration Certification (BIC) initiative for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Nigeria. This program aims to improve corporate governance standards in the SME sector, making businesses more attractive to foreign investors.

The certification process is digital and accessible through the FRC website, allowing SMEs to assess and enhance their compliance with corporate governance guidelines. Key figures involved include Comfort Osundu from FRC, Soji Apampa from Integrity Organisation, and Lola Adekoy, the Africa Hub Region Director at CIPE.
