Frederick Leonard Files Defamation Petition Against Ontop

Nollywood actor Frederick Leonard has formally written a petition against filmmaker Stanley Ontop, alleging defamation that has reportedly persisted for two years. The petition, dated January 28, 2026, was submitted to the Delta State Police Command, with Leonard's legal team, including Uch Okoro, co-accusing Ontop of damaging Leonard's reputation without provocation.

Leonard accuses Ontop of feeding the public negative impressions and threatening his career. The actor shared the petition on his Instagram page on Monday morning, captioning it with a message directed at Stanley Chibuez Ajemba, also known as Stanlei Ontop, stating that the law will take its course and that others will follow suit if the allegations are proven.

Leonard's actions indicate a serious legal approach to address the alleged defamation.
