Stanley Ontop Responds to Frederick Leonard's Defamation Petition in Nollywood Drama

Nollywood filmmaker and media personality Stanley Ontop has reacted to a defamation petition filed against him by actor Frederick Leonard. Leonard's lawyer, Uch Okoro, submitted the petition on January 28, 2026, to the Delta State Police Command.

Leonard alleges that Ontop repeatedly made damaging statements about him without provocation, causing harm to his personal and professional life. Leonard publicly shared the petition on his Instagram page, warning that he is prepared to pursue legal action to hold Ontop accountable.

Ontop, in response, posted on his Instagram page, expressing readiness to meet with the police and face Leonard in court.
