Genesis House Relaunches with Women’s Day Conference

The Freedom Foundation's Genesis House is set to relaunch with an International Women’s Day conference scheduled for Thursday, March 26, 2026. The event will gather 150 participants, including mental health professionals, faith leaders, NGO donors, and advocates for women and girls.

The conference, themed "Give, Gain, Rebuild," aims to empower survivors of abuse and trafficking. Keynote speaker Nkoyo Rapu will address the importance of investing in women, while panel sessions will focus on economic empowerment and trauma-informed care.

Toyin Bakar will deliver the welcome address, emphasizing the need for safety and opportunities for survivors. The event will culminate in a fundraising session led by Chidi Koldsweat, the Executive Director of the Freedom Foundation, to mobilize sponsorships and partnerships.

The relaunch of Genesis House serves as a reminder of the importance of investing in the healing and empowerment of women, with the goal of creating stronger families and safer communities.
