Police Arrest Nnamdi Kanu's Lawyer and Protesters in Abuja

The FCT Police Command in Abuja arrested Aloy Ejimakor, lawyer to Nnamdi Kanu, and other protesters demanding the release of the detained IPOB leader. Kanu faces charges of treason and terrorism after being extradited to Nigeria from Kenya.

The arrest occurred during a protest led by Omoyele Sowore outside the Nigeria Communications Commission headquarters. The protesters were dispersed with tear gas.

Ejimakor confirmed the arrests and stated that they were taken to the Criminal Investigation Department of the FCT Police Command.
